Valencia is our assistant coach here at MindOverMatter Elite. After working with Drew for over three years, she has experienced firsthand how our core values have strengthened her as an athlete and person.

She first got into running in middle school after joining the cross-country team. After meeting Drew, she learned the importance of good mentorship and a good relationship with your coach, so she started coaching for MindOverMatter Elite.

She has a great passion for track herself and still trains to run the 400, 800, and 1600m races, the 800 being her specialty.

Valencia is a student at Granite Bay High School and has a sister attending Northwestern University. She comes from a family of runners, with both her parents racing in numerous marathons. She hopes to run at a collegiate level for a d1 school in the 800m. She has a very close connection with her community and loves working with young children.
